AdBlue to produce cleaner emissions
What is AdBlue?
AdBlue is neither a fuel nor a fuel additive, it is an aqueous solution consisting of deionized water, for the most part, and high purity urea. AdBlue aims to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions which are harmful to the environment and thus meet the strict emission limits set by European standards (Euro 6) – which are emission control standards new vehicles sold in the European Union and America.
Ποια είναι η χρήση του AdBlue?
AdBlue aims to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions which are harmful to the environment and thus meet the strict emission limits set by European standards (Euro 6) – which are emission control standards for new vehicles sold in the European Union and America. Hence, NOx, which is a major source of air pollution is drastically reduced. AdBlue is used in heavy-duty vehicles equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology such as trucks, buses, garbage trucks, and since September 2014 in some diesel passenger vehicles.
